Who Are We?

A1 Toastmasters Club is one of the more than 200 Toastmasters Clubs in China.  Our members include experienced entrepreneurs, managers, doctors, lawyers, but also new graduates and students all working to enhance their skills at communication (in English) and leadership.

What Do We Do?

Our Club Members prepare and present projects from the Basic and Advanced Communication manuals developed by Toastmasters International.  Each project is aimed at developing one or more specific skills needed when speaking in front of a group - of any size.


How Do We Do It?

We engage in a wide variety of activities including, but not limited to:

  • Speeches (prepared speeches) & speech evaluation
  • Table Topics (impromptu speech exercises)
  • Speech marathons
  • Area, Division & District contests and activities
  • Educational sessions, workshops, training sessions, guest speakers at all levels

A1ers went to Melody for a three-hour singing Marathon, and the atmosphere was hot!
Mrs Michaela Zuber is leaving China, A1 threw her a farewell party at Annie's Pizza.
On August 20th, A1ers toured the Olympic Forest park and had a luxurious buffet!
