Welcome to the Online Home of A1 Toastmasters

The  A1 Toastmasters Club is an affiliate club of Toastmasters International (TI), the world's largest self-paced self-help learning organization. As part of this non-profit organization we provide our members with a platform to improve their self-confidence by enhancing their public speaking and leadership skills.

We do this by using the TI educational materials in our meetings.  Our weekly meeting consists of two parts; the first part is dedicated to a table topics session in which we learn impromptu speaking; and second part gives members the opportunity to present prepared speeches on topics they select for themselves. But speaking without getting feedback will only bring us halfway to our goal - that is why at the end of each meeting we have an array of evaluators giving us their impressions and suggestions for improvement regarding our performance.

Our members come from all walks of life. They are experienced entrepreneurs, managers, doctors, lawyers, but also new graduates and students who all recognized that the ability to speak confidently and convincingly in today's world is an indispensable skill.

When you become a member of our A1 Toastmasters Club you will go through 10 projects in the Competent Communicator and the Competent Leadership Manual. Each project is designed to learn a specific skill in speaking and/or leadership. You can work on either one or both of the manuals together. Our meeting structure allows you to pursue both at the same time.
